Calibration and verification
Accredited calibration and verification for industrial and medical dosimetry, traceable to international standards
We provide ISO-17025 accredited calibration and verification services for both industrial radiation processing and medical dosimetry applications, serving customers in Denmark and internationally.
For the radiation processing industry, calibrations and verifications are performed through our High Dose Reference Laboratory (HDRL) in the dose range 0.2–100 kGy, accredited by DANAK, and traceable to NPL (UK). These services support routine dosimetry systems and reference measurements and may be carried out using laboratory irradiation or irradiations at the customer’s facility (Co-60, e-beam or X-ray).
For medical dosimetry, calibrations of ionization chambers and electrometers are performed by the Laboratory for Fundamental Medical Dosimetry (LFMD) in accordance with IAEA TRS-398 or equivalent protocols, using Co-60 and five MV clinical linear accelerator beams. Calibrations are traceable to PTB (Germany) and performed under DANAK accreditation.
