Calorimeter for Electron Beam Dosimetry

Calorimetry is a precise and traceable method for absorbed dose measurement in electron beam facilities. Risø HDRL calorimeters are available for both routine and reference dosimetry, ensuring reliable dose verification and calibration.

We offer calorimeters in two material options:

  • Graphite: Dose range 1.5 – 15 kGy
  • Polystyrene: Dose range 3 – 40 kGy

Measurements are performed using a digital ohm-meter, providing accurate and reproducible results. Our calorimeters comply with ISO/ASTM 51631:2003, the standard practice for calorimetric dosimetry in electron beam processing.

To support efficient dose measurement, Risø HDRL supplies CalDose software, designed for seamless data analysis and reporting.

Our calorimetry solutions provide the accuracy and confidence needed for high-performance radiation processing.
