Low-Energy Electron Beam

Low-energy electrons for sample irradiations, dosimetry calibration and research

A Comet EBLab-200 irradiator is operated at Risø HDRL. It supplies electrons at energies from 80 keV to 200 keV, over a width of 20 cm.

On this facility, material samples and dosimeters for use at low energy are irradiated. It is a vital component of the low-energy electron beam courses run at Risø, with all irradiations for dosimetry calibration, OQ and PQ training exercises carried out here.
